~BLAZING OKLAHOMA FIRE~

Firefighters in Oklahoma continue to battle hot spots associated with the fires that burned across northeast areas of our state on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Many people have lost their homes.

Sadly, many people have lost everything they own.

I'm not sure the suspected cause of the fire as been announced.  Yesterday the sky was so dark and black close to our home it was hard to breathe at times.  The fires, combined with the insufferable heat Oklahoma has been having of late, made for a truly miserable day.  Losing anything would be heartbreaking for us.
Losing everything would be devastating!

Next time you talk to the Most High...please ask Him to bless the people whose lives have been changed forever because of this fire.  Rebuilding is always hard.  Without insurance (and many don't have it) it's nearly impossible.

Thanking God today for His protection and grace.

Hope your Thursday is wonderful.  My Mr. AGPMan is FINALLY back home! He's been gone for soooo long!

Love to you...

Isn't it terrible about the fires in Oklahoma....I feel such sadness for the people who lost their homes and all of their possessions. It is something you can never replace and it is devasting. My hubby lost his parents when their home burned to the ground, so I know how truly horrifying this is...he cannot even speak of it....
I am and will be saying prayers for anyone who is touched by this latest tradegy.....
I am so glad your Mr.AGPMan is back home....I know you missed him!

Prayers said for everyone involved in the fires ands storms. This has been a bad week for so many people!
I am glad that your guy is home. You must have been so happy to see him. Hopefully he won't have to leave for a while again.

I have been watching the news of the fires on television and really hurt for those who have lost their homes and belongings. I was thinking just this morning what would I grab first in my home if I had to leave because of fire. It came down to my mother's paintings and family photos.

Oh dear Rebecca,

I had not heard about these awful fires! I hope they don't come anywhere near you! I have heard nothing but devestation, from this hurricane Irene. It brings tears to my eyes when I see what some people have lost. we did get 4" of water in our basement, but that is nothing compared to what some people have lost. Prayers are being said for you, and all the people of Oklahoma.

Hugs,
Debbie xo

Dear Rebecca;
I have been praying ceaselessly for those facing such daunting challenges of late in this country.
I will continue to pray that rain comes for those of you down south who need it so badly in the heatwave and for dryer weather up here where we have been inundated with flooding lately.
May we all weather the storm and draw closer to Him who is our solace in every affliction.
Always in my prayers...
Tina xo

What is going on with the world? Mother Nature is taking revenge. In the East all these storms and the people don't know what to do with all this water and here everything is so bone dry and burning, where is the justice! I live in Oregon and we have 5 fires burning there, thank goodness I am not close to them, I feel for the people and all the poor animals.

Rebecca....we here in Texas are all in sympathy with you up there...it is far to "close to home" for us too.
The heat, the drought...the desperate need for rain, just like yourselves.
I simply do not know how people, especially our age (in our 70's) start all over again after such devestating losses.
And the Insurance companies are simply not going to be ABLE to be picking up the tab...in a timely manner...even for those who have insurance I am thinking.. with SO MANY disasters all over the USA so close together.

I understand that some people in Vermont are STILL without electricity. That is almost unimaginable..... in this heat.
We are praying for you up there and for those who are dealing with this heartbreak.

Rose
