~LACE WEATHERED APRONS~ White Wednesday

 ~TATTERED WHITE APRON~

Today I'm linking up again with Kathleen over at Faded Charm for White Wednesday and also What's It Wednesday over at Ivy and Elephants!  I hope you'll pop over to both these fabulous places and check out all the things offered up this week!  We all have a wonderful time and we'd love to have you join us!
 ~STONE-WASHED w/ CROCHET LACE~

Over the past few weeks I've been working on creating some new merchandise for my A Gathering Place Shoppe!  For the longest time I've wanted to stitch up some vintage style aprons, but with a weathered-lace twist!  I've finally gotten around to making a few and honestly I've had more fun sewing in my studio than I've had in a long, long time!

Each of the aprons you see were fashioned with vintage sheeting, pre-owned (used) window panels or newer cotton sheets.  The laces/trims are all vintage as are the buttons!
~TATTERED LACE and TRIMS~

There won't be two alike!  The aprons weren't terribly hard to make once I settled on a specific pattern.  One basic layout was used for each apron even though the tattered cotton and lace trims have been mixed up a bit!!!

Once our new kitchen is finished I'm going to love hanging one of these up on some little chippy peg-shelf or over a cabinet knob!
~PINK-WHITE-STONE~

Couldn't resist tossing a pink one into the mix!

(Now you know a wee little bit of what I've been working on!!!!)

TODAY (Wednesday) our new wood floors are being installed.  Can you see me jumping up and down with excitement?  I can hardly wait!
Will post photos soon!

Hope your day is wonderful!

Love to you...

I love the darker linen look! Fabulicious if you ask me!!! I also adore the quote from Luke you have on your sidebar. It's hung on my cork board right by my work station. One which reminds me daily of the purpose being for His purpose! I keep peaking over and every time there is something different on your blog. I love how it looks now. so pretty. Hugs. T

Oh, I think they are just as sweet as the other but the linen is my fav.

I've been missing the pink so was happy to see the pink apron. All of them are so cute! OK, new floors, so what have you done with all the furniture? That would be no fun moving that out of the way. Then to put it all back. Makes my back sore just thinking about it!♥♫

Hi Rebecca
I'm sort of an apronaholic - is this possible? :-)
I buy nice ones at craft sales and country stores -and have a few special ones that are favourites.
I'll be sure to check yours out, I love the design.
Hope the wood floor goes in smoothly, I like mine.

Dearest Rebecca,

My, and I had guessed some over sized pillows... But you are a genius for dreaming this up. Very nicely done. That brings back a mix of old west and romantic home style. Perfect for this downward economy where more women might bake and cook in the home for being thrifty.
Love to you talented lady and wow, in a few days you're living in a different place!

Such pretty aprons Rebecca! I have grand intentions of making aprons out of white skirts that I have accumulated, but haven't gotten around to it yet. At least the bottom of the apron would be almost all done!!
