~LOVE THAT NEVER ENDS~

LOVE.NEVER.FAILS.

In Paul's letter to the Church at Corinth (1st Corinthins 13) God's love, says the Apostle, will never fall to the ground, wither and decay.  By it's nature it will never die but will live on through eternity...

Today, more than ever, I'm holding this promise close to my own heart, for like many of you I'm horrified and saddened by the violence and killings at Sandy Hook Elementary.

After two days I'm still at a loss for words.
The only thing I'm honestly feeling today is a profound since of calm and peace as I see the good people of America unite.  Despite what we sometimes bear witness to, I believe the goodness that lives inside us will prevail and in the end God will bring something good out of what was intended for evil.
"LOVE WILL LAST FOREVER" (NLT).

"LOVE NEVER DIES" (MSG).

"LOVE NEVER ENDS" (RSV).

"LOVE IS ETERNAL" (TEV).

"LOVE NEVER FAILS" (NKJV).

Blessings as you seek to both heal and minister in your own beautiful way.

Love to you...

Beautiful pillow. Hopefully an understanding about mental illness will come out of this. What needs to be done to get people the help they need. It is sometimes so hard to get the help. Shortage of staff, funds, etc. We need to get back to what is important. PEOPLE. O.k. off my soapbox now. Your posts always make me think. Hugs, Teresa

I have really been struggling with all that happened! I am praying for all of the families and the little town! Healing and LOVE, that's what I am asking for! I am hugging my Granchildren a little tighter:) if that is even possible! HUGS to you dear friend!

I wish that LOVE would have overcome that other four letter word EVIL before that EVIL grew legs and walked into that school and murdered all those innocent people. It is breaks my heart. I know there is goodness and love in this world but I hate it when something like this rears its ugly head and destroys so many lives. May God have mercy on all those that are living with the effects of this deed. xo Diana

Dearest Rebecca,
That is a lovely expression, we do have it on a tile.
Let's hope that LOVE will win.
Hugs,

My sweet Rebecca... so beautifully written.. I'm having a tough time.. I simply cannot imagine the evil that would overcome this young man and make him want to kill little ones. (Or ANYone for that matter)... PURE EVIL. What an incredible loss for those families. I know God will heal them, but at this point, I just cannot imagine how. I don't live there, they're not my children, but my heart is just broken. I won't get up on Christmas morning missing my baby... but these parents.. Oh how overwhelmingly sad. Praying for them... constantly. Dear Lord... you know the ache in their hearts... give them comfort only YOU can give.
