~MORE SHABBY COTTAGE CHIC MAKEOVERS and Some New Friends~

~KATHY'S BEAUTIFUL BEDROOM~

One of the side benefits of hosting a fun GIVEAWAY is that you get to meet lots and lots of talented blogger friends that otherwise you might never have stumbled upon.  Or in this case, have stumble upon me~   It takes just one blogger to link or blog about your site and then another... and before you know it you've found a entirely new circle of friends that somehow you've missed discovering.

It's a small, small world!

I've had so much fun going through the comments I've received regarding the hand painted pink rose sewing drawer and the dainty sachet.  A few of the comments have really caught my eye...  Some of you are really hilarious!  I've found there is more talent out there than I ever imagined ...
~ANOTHER SHOT of KATHY'S RETREAT~

Take Kathy from KATE'S PLACE for instance!  She found me and then I found her!  Kathy has a precious blog!  I love her style and the soft, inviting place she calls home.  I so hope you will stop in and say hello to Miss Kathy!  She already has a wonderful following but I promise you...if you love shabby cottage chic decor you will LOVE her site!

Next...I want to introduce you to Tammy from TAMMY'S HEART.  Tammy is brand new to the blogging world even though we know her Momma, Miss Ginger from GLITTER and ROSES, well.  Tammy has a heart of gold and it was a pleasure meeting her in person a couple of months ago.  Some of the very BEST Bloggers live not far from me in the beautiful State of Oklahoma... Tammy lives in a sweet little cottage painted up with fresh whites and surrounded by a lovely garden.  I hope you'll stop in a welcome her!

~THE TRANSFORMATION~
~BEFORE SHOT~

Before I scoot for the day I just had to let you see the final result of my furniture makeover!  The chest came out just as beautiful as the dresser!  I did decide to keep both of the larger pieces and I couldn't be happier!  If you missed my Post about snagging such a great find you can read about it HERE and HERE!

Now...I'm off to my booth space at French Quarter Antiques in Oklahoma City.  It looks like one of those famous Okie Twisters made it's way through my little space.  Everything is torn up and looking really sad! :(  I have a true work day ahead of me.

Blessings for a lovely day...I'll be back in the morning for another PINK SATURDAY.

Don't forget to visit my newest friends!

Love to you~

I agree about the wonderful friends you can meet through this thing called blogging. My daughter just had 3 precious girlfriends visit for nearly 2 weeks...all young ladies she met through blogging. Then, in less than 2 weeks, my daughter is traveling to Pennsylvania, to spend 3 weeks with another dear blogging friend (whom she also visited last year).

Yes, you have to be careful with the internet, but with time and discernment, some very wonderful friendships can be formed.

So thank you for telling us about those two gals. Oftentimes, it's only through word of mouth that we can "meet" these others.

Blessings to you,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty) yes, I've changed my blog name.

Hi Rebecca :) I am a follower of Kathy's blog, and she does have a beautiful home! Very inspiring, with lots of great ideas for decorating one's own home :) Just like your beautiful home too!

Your dresser make-over looks fabulous! So, you're keeping both large pieces hey...I would too as they are gorgeous. One can always make room for something when one needs to, right, lol :)

Have a fabulous weekend!

Warmest Hugs, Brenda

Miss R. thank you for the sweet introduction to Tammys new blog. And for the sweet comments about me. I can't wait to visit Kathys blog. I'm on my way there next. Your chest is amazing (of course) are you keeping it too? I'm coming to OKC tomorrow to a walk for Chrohns and Colitis Foundation walk at Stars and Stripes Park. I hope to take some pics and blog about it.

I’ve enjoyed looking over your blog. I came across it through another blog I follow, and I’m glad I did. I am now a follower of yours as well. Feel free to look over my blog and perhaps become one as well.
