~ONE STEP AT A TIME~

~HARD AT WORK MOVING MY BOOTH~

I've shared with you many times over the past four plus years (golly...has it been THAT LONG???) how much I love the writings of Max Lucado~

Late Saturday evening a passage in his book, Traveling Light, spoke to me.  After two very, very busy weeks I was feeling totally overwhelmed and found myself worrying about this, that and everything in-between...  You know...just life stuff...

Lucado shared this:

Arthur Hays Sulzberger was the publisher of the New York Times during the Second World War.  Because of the world conflict, he found it almost impossible to sleep.  He was never able to banish worries from his mind until he adopted as his motto these five words--

"ONE STEP ENOUGH FOR ME"
(taken from the hymn "Lead Kindly Light")

God isn't going t let you see the distant scene either.  So you might as well quit looking for it.  He promises a lamp unto our feet, not a crystal ball into the future.  We do not need to know what will happen tomorrow.

God is leading you.  Leave tomorrow's problems until tomorrow."

~~*~~

This morning I'm so grateful to be in a position of not only doing what I love, but enjoying it with my biggest earthly supporter, my husband, by my side.  I couldn't do what I do without him...

I also want to say a huge thank you to the women God placed in my physical path today.  I don't know who you are personally, but your encouragement, enthusiasm, kindness and grace will never be forgotten.

You blessed me.

Someday I hope to repay you.

~ONE STEP IS ENOUGH FOR ME~

Love to you...

Good Morning Rebecca! This is one thing over the years I have found many confuse: The bible, it's instruction & how we carry out the instruction are maps, wisdom & a path to follow. Not a quick way to the grasp the glory. My goodness, if it were easy how many of us wouldn't be tempted to jump on the easy train. I sure do know my journey would have been far less eventful, I would have missed so many details in the fine print & the end goal would not be so sweet.

So, to the JOURNEY!! Much success to you.
Hug
Tammy.... I hope those aren't flip flops your were up on stool *wink*

With a little time to spare I am visiting some of my favorite blogs. How serendipitous to have read yours today...the quote is exactly what I needed. I am going to write it down in my journal because I'm sure I will need to read it again..and again.

Blessings on a Sunday morning,
abby

It is really looking gorgeous! You all have done so much work, and I can see that it is going to be the prettiest shop space ever. You never cease to amaze me with how you truly use the talents God gave you, and you are always a blessing to others, Becky. So when people bless you, it's your own seed being multiplied back to you. And your husband is a gem of whom you are very deserving.

Love you much...

XO,

Sheila

Hi Rebecca, I have been watching your progress of getting your new booth ready. If I lived closer, I would come to visit you. I always enjoy reading your blog and admire how your hubby is there every step of the way. I am wishing you great success with your adventure because that is what we are on. We don't know what tomorrow will bring, but we do know God is there for us every step of the way. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri friend.
