~GOT DOG?~

Yesterday we invited longtime friends over for dinner here at our La Chaumière de Briarwood and Miss Mollie, our nearly ten year old Yorkie, was required to dress for the occasion.

She looked so lovely dressed up to the nines!

You dress your pets up when company comes, don't you?
(???????????????????????)

:) :) :)

To welcome our out-of-town guests Mollie donned a vintage ribbon of soft white about her camel brown pony tail, further accented with a tiny white rosebud.  Around her neck she wore a vintage lace collar accented with French trim and ribbon.

So dog-on chic...

Workin'-Workin'-Workin'
in my studio today and then down to spruce up my booth space at Edmond Antiques.  Tomorrow I'm going to show you some of my latest finds.
(Totally swooning over a couple of them!)

Hope you Monday is beautimous!

Love to you~

She is beautiful! My boys would not care to be dressed up. Tanner, Corgi, won't move if you even put a hat on him. If you can even catch him. Runs if he see you coming with an article of clothing. Murphy, our English cocker, thinks he is so cool if you put a hat on him. But then runs into another room and tries to eat it. I have a friend with a yorkie and she has her own dresser drawer full of clothes. Gets a new outfit each holiday. Guess my boys are too macho! lol.

Oh my goodness--how adorable! I love the lace collar. Oh yes--we do dress our pets for company. We dress them for everything actually. I used to breed Yorkies for awhile. I love Yorkies. What a cutie! Our one remaining Yorkie is 12 years old--but she looks it. Yours looks great for her age! Now I need to make some lace collars:)

Such a pretty little girl, and wearing her company best so willingly.
Topaz has had an occassional scarf on but he doesn't really care for them and prefers the au natural rugged look.

Oooh Miss Mollie, you are tres chic!... I would call your hairstyle a French twist though... and of course Princess Tessy dresses up for company... she is a proper English Pointer, you know... xoxo Julie Marie and Tessy

Ummm...dress my dog? No. Newfies do not need to have any extra adornment, they are totally cute on their own!! I mean it. I actually didn't want another dog after BooBoo left me last December, but am now thinking another black beauty would be fun when I retire!♥♫

PS.Your Miss Molly is rather sweet looking. ;D

Oh my! I just looked at your website again from a PC to get the Oat Bran Muffins posted a few days earlier (as we are taking a trip next weekend and wanted some good recipes for our little vaca)...anyway, I have not looked at your site from a PC for a long time; only using my IPhone. Well, on the IPhone you don't get the music. When I pulled it up and heard your beautiful music again, I almost started crying!! When I was a realtor and had more freedom being self-employed, I always kept your music up when in the office bec I loved it so much!! LOVE LOVE your music, girlie!! :D

Have a wonderful day!!

xoxo, Carolyn

Oh my!! I just now looked up your blog again from my PC at work to get your recipe that you had posted a few days ago for the Honey Bran Muffin for a little vaca we are taking next week. Well, I havn't looked at your blog in a long time from a PC...only pulling it up on my IPhone. It almost made me cry to hear your sweet music again, Rebecca!! When I was a realtor, I had so much more freedom and would keep your music running on my PC all the time when I was in the office.

LOVE LOVE your music, girlie!!

Mollie is so adorable! I think my hubby would really think I had finally gone off the deep end if I started dressing up Jessie- of course he's a male dog and not nearly as cute as Mollie!

Oh, she is precious!!!! I know that my dog(s) would find a way to get undressed. One time I saw doggie earrings and have always wanted to get some. I've often wondered if there is doggie perfume. I so enjoy !visiting you, Rebecca@

Mele was supposed to be a Yorkie..but instead she turned out to be a "Pomie" :) Your little girl is a doll! Dress up? Hmmm..I must think on this. Problem is..she has a double coat of fur..and...just putting on a collar is a hassel. :) Still....
Hugs!

Oh Rebecca... ONLY you! She is just adorable... I had wardrobe plans for my little Ruby Mae PetuniaBelle when we got her... however, time got away and I never did make dresses for her.......now she won't wear anything. Darn. She'll just have to go NEKKID for dinner parties. Love your little Mollie.... I love how she likes the photo taking bit too.

Thanks for the sweet compliment... you're pretty darn gorgeous yourownself.

Miss Sweet,

Mollie is adorable! I love my Mikey so much but miss the fact that I can't dress him up. We do have a Halloween outfit for him, though. :-)
