~LIFE IS GREAT...and Accepting Imperfection~

WHEN IN THE SPIRIT OF GOD'S LOVE
I LOOK AT MY REFLECTION
I ACCEPT MYSELF FOR WHO I AM
WITH ALL MY IMPERFECTION
(Unknown)

Isn't life good?

After seeing Mr. Roger Ebert yesterday on Oprah I realized once again that the things I only THINK are bothersome to me in my life, in fact, are not.

Yes! Life is good!!!

No, wait!

LIFE IS GREAT! Yes...GREAT my friends!

Blessings to you as you continue to live it with passion...

You are so right Rebecca.
Life is contained within the simple things...days are short,
and we should make it our mission to enjoy each and every one of them.
Life is indeed great & beautiful.

Dear Rebecca,
I saw a picture of him and I was very saddened by what he is going through with thyroid cancer.
It will be two years this June that my mom had her thyroid removed which had 3 tumors with some cancer cells. I praise God she is doing well.

I so enjoy yor blog! I learn so much about life through blogging.
May you have a blessed week and God Bless you,
d

Yes Rebecca, after seeing Oprah yesterday I felt like I was very beautiful. We should all be so gratful for the wonderful health and beauty we have, even if it isn't perfect. We have so much to thank God for, just being able to get out of bed. Thanks for remindings us again.
Hugs, Pat

I had read about Mr. Ebert a couple of weeks ago & the surgeries he had. Then I watched him & his wife on Oprah yesterday & it moved me to tears.
Watching his zest for life when he faces such disabling things we take for granted like eating & drinking & talking. It made me feel wholy inadequate.
....You have to accept what you look like & who you are. Life is good!!
Love,
Marilyn

Yes, indeed! Life is FABULOUS.

... and I have no problems with imperfections. If I did, I would have real self-esteem issues!

Terrific post.

Hi sweet Rebecca,
Life really is a gift and yes, it is really great. At first when we got a diagnosis on Landon, I thought how cruel life is to some of God's children, but as the years have passed and I've watched this little boy grow and see how much he loves life, it has taught me so much, so much of God's love for each and everyone of us. It's all a matter of attitude, isn't it?!
love to you dear one.

DEAR REBECCA,
I COULD NOT WATCH OPRAH BECAUSE AMY IS BEAUTIFUL AND WHOLE NOW THAT SHE IS IN HEAVEN, SHE SUFFERED SO THAT IT WAS ALMOST INHUMANE.
WE TAKE JUST THE SIMPLE ACT OF SWALLOWING FOR GRANTED.
YOU'RE RIGHT LIFE IS GREAT BECAUSE WE ONLY HAVE ONCE TO GET IT RIGHT.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT AND YOUR INSPIRATION , WHEN THE SADNESS OF YOUR DADDY DANCES AROUND YOU. GRACE...GRACE...GOD'S GRACE.
LOVE AND HUGS
