~PINK SATURDAY...Sweet Pink Rose Postcards For You~

Happy Pink Saturday!

(First...check out my previous POST for a fun Christmas in July Giveaway!)

Now...if I'm counting right this is my 11th time to join in with Beverly of How Sweet The Sound and her PINK SATURDAY Celebration!!!  I hope you'll stop in and check out not only Miss B's Blog but check out the other peeps taking part in Pink Saturday fun!
Now...normally I show you sweet pink things I either have in my home or maybe even things I make.  I've had a super-duper-busy-week finishing up special orders for Christmas in July and I'm due for a weekend of rest.
So...hope you don't mind if I lazy-out a bit and just show you some of the VINTAGE PINK ROSE POSTCARDS I have in my collection.  Most were scanned in many moons ago so the DPI might not be too high...but feel free to use these on this post if you'd like.
Just LEFT CLICK and they will enlarge and then you can RIGHT CLICK and copy them!
I've collected pink rose postcards for as long as I can remember!  I especially love the ones that showcase the artwork of Cathrine Klein.  She is my favorite PINK ROSE ARTIST ever and all the ones I'm showing you today are copies of her original artwork!
Have you ever seen such lovely blooms?  I think not!  Every rose she painted is divine and I absolutely adore her work.  Hands gifted by the Most High I'd say!
I've never come across a single pink rose (or any other color!)image of hers that I didn't flip out over!
Thank you for stopping by today!  I'll try next week to get back to my regular pink-lovin' pictures!  In the meantime I hope you can use some of the images I've shared!

Have a lovely PINK SATURDAY...and don't forget to check out my GIVEAWAY that started yesterday!  Here are some pics and the LINK to enter!
  ~HAPPY PINK SATURDAY~
Love to you~

Hi Rebecca, Thank you for your visit last Saturday, your kind words really meant alot to me. Angel passed away, but I know she's at peace. Your postcards are DEVINE, I have a few of them too! I read that you are in O.K., my husband and I travel to Fort Worth TX twice a year, if you ever get the chance to visit Montgomery Street Antique Mall (use to be an old factory)it will take most of the day to see everything, they have an awesome Tea Room too. That's where I find most of my original postcards...Oh, and if you stay on Montgomery St. go toward Vicory Blvd, visit Cabbage Rose Quilting fabric store, you'll love it! Have a very lovely and RESTFUL weekend,
(((hugs))) Karen

dear Rebecca,

Thank you for your comforting words of the loss of my mom. She is now at peace, finally, and I rejoice in that! I continue to pray for your dad and you, knowing what you are both going through.
Thank you for the pink roses today. My mom's favorite color was pink and she was showered with pink roses and flowers at her funeral! I have copied and saved these gorgeous post card roses to use in the future in her memory.

Much love & understanding, Sherry

Those are all gorgeous. I don't think one can ever see too many beautiful roses, so your break today from showing your own pinkiness didn't leave us at a loss for beauty.

And thank you for the gracious permission to use the images. Now that I have learned how to copy images, I just might use one.

Have a lovely weekend.

Love,
Patti

Thankyou so much for the offering today Rebecca. I am head over heals in love with the print of the cream roses and bleeding hearts. When we lived in GA, we grew bleeding hearts and now, sadly it's too hot here for them. Who would think the Lord above would give us a heart flower, so perfect that it needs no scent. It's heaven on a plant. I hope you have a wonderful week my friend, Happy Pink Saturday to you. I am sure you have been working hard and now I hope you get the rest you seek, Char

Rebecca these postcards are just beautiful!! I see where you get all your inspiration for the lovely painting you do!! I so wish I had that talent!

Did I tell you that we will be starting a food and clothing pantry in the little town that we minister in? We are so excited as it is a desperate need in this extremely poor area. Please pray for a food distributor contact. The man we were talking to that supplied over a dozen other food pantries decided to close doors all of a sudden so now all those pantries are hurting also- and in times like this it is not good.

I do so enjoy your blog- brings a breath of fresh air with every look!

How I love roses. Your postcards are lovely..thanks for sharing them. I can see them in a collage or as tiny ornaments on my pink Christmas tree. :0)

One day I hope to have a small rose garden filled with David Austin English roses. OH, how beautiful they are.

Have a restful weekend and let the PiNk bliss follow you through your week.

Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful images. I, too, have loved her artwork for so long. In fact, just for the fun of it I tried to see if I could paint roses like her...didn't even get close! But became passionate about painting again (being a former art major) and am taking classes... again. My art teacher asked for some ideas for this September when we start back up....and guess who's images I gave her as a suggestion ;) Thanks again.
