"LOVE IS..." and OTHER THINGS THAT MATTER

"LOVE IS..." LETTING HIM HELP YOU CHOOSE YOUR NEW MATERIAL

OK Peeps...this latest "LOVE IS..." clipping surely brought a smile to my face! If I could EVEN tell you how many times I've dragged my poor hubbs to the fabric store with me you would probably faint. A few years ago I stopped torturing him with such boring excursions. The poor thing. Truly dulled out of his mind! He would just walk around with that, um...well..."I wish I was HOME watching Football" look on his face! I'm sure you know what I'm talking about... He never ever complained though...that's my guy! Long SUFFERING AGPMan that he is...

Blessings to you as you shop with and without him...Rebecca

How sweet! He is a good sport too, going to the fabric stores with you. I've seen that look many times too and know that I've made it as well when going to Bass Pro, etc. LOL

Hello Sweet Rebecca,
I got the greatest smile out of this post, because I have been there , only just recently in trying to choose colors of paint, of all things. Thanks for sharing and for visiting and as always leaving such sweet words.
I have sooo missed not being able to come by for a visit, but hopefully things will slow down a bit..
Blessings,
Sue

I am so grateful to my guys (hubs & son) who come with me to the fabric stores. My husband has been known to stop at garage or yard sales if he see's something he knows I would want. I'm lucky that way.

I can count on my son for all things dark and my husband for all things victorian. His eye is strong in that era.

Only in rare times has the hubs asked to just sit in the car and wait on me. The girls at the shop always ask about him. Makes me giggle. Loves me a hubs who helps shop for fabric!

Hi Rebecca,
I love this clipping. I'm actually shocked that any woman can get their man in a fabric shop. Hubs would be afraid one of his friends might see him coming out of the place and think he's the one making all that flowery stuff in our house.
Hugs to you,
June

Hi Rebecca, I love this clipping!! I can so relate to this as I have taken my DH with me many times to shop for whatever my mind thinks I need to create with. He gladly goes along. LOL!! But there are times I have seen the look that reads, "are you done yet? can we go home now?" LOL He loves thrift shopping and antiquing tho.
We are truly blessed, I'd say!

Have a great afternoon.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

I love your new litte avatar by the way!!So pretty!

We are so blessed with great husbands. Mine tolerates it but I really stopped torturing him years ago. I must say though he does love to window shop with me. Your story reminds me of the craft show I went to last Saturday. In the lobby of the hall there was a couch and above the couch there was a sign that said, "Husband Drop Off Zone".

How true.
xxoo, Susan

What a hoot! I don't have my own guy to bore, but growing up my Dad could have cared less about decorating style. Now I think it strange when friends and family actually have to consult with their significant other before making a choice. I guess a lot of men have become in touch with their feminine side!

Rebecca, I dragged Ron into fabric shops for years when I did craft shows....I had them in my home!

He was far better than me at finding the right fabrics for my dolls. Ron has fabulous patience!!

I have always said...God truly loves me to have given me this wonderful man. Still in love after almost 30 years!!!! Mushy, huh??

Love and hugs, Barb

LOL!!! Your description of your husband in the fabric store remind me of how I felt when dragged by my Mom to shop for fabric. We I go to the fabric store, hubby walks in with me than quickly turns while saying, "I am going to the car".

Ooohh sweet ~r~,
giggle giggle :):).. I don't really go into fabric stores ( I leave this for you ) hahaha.. BUT.. All my other jaunts and shoppes, I can get Mike to go in.. He is really a good sport, and usually finds something that intrigues him, (while I secretly pray for this), cuz than I get more time to wander and shoppe..BUT, he will say "will you go to Home Depot with me ?! WHAT ?! I hate this store, and nothing bores me more !! Than, he will say, how he goes with me to mine.. and never complains.. Yikes, does that mean I have to share, and give in to his wants sometimes.. oohh darn, of course I go, and always complain, soo he will go fast.. hahaha.. Well, at least I'm honest girly-girl..You make me laugh, and I can picture sweet Mr. AGP..Love you guys, and chat more soon..~tea~

Chuckle! You just described my shopping with hubby ... as always, you said it FAR better than I! Even now he is falling out from enjoying the auctions & yard sales ventures ... HOW COULD I EVER ASK HIM TO GIVE UP RUSH LIMBAUGH for strolling thru the mall, auction, etc.
