"LOVE IS..." and Other Things That Matter

"LOVE IS...
Smiling as she tells you about
the dented fender!"

I only have this to say...

My Mr. AGPMan was pretty good about the massively dented fender (passenger door, side front panel, cracked window and broken lights, etc.) CONSIDERING the fact the car I hit was our OTHER vehicle!!!!!

ACK! :( :( :(

I still don't know HOW it happened!

Blessings to you as you look REALLY GOOD BEFORE you back out of your own driveway...Rebecca

OMG! we ARE related!!! You are too funny ... hope the car is ok ... it is just pride that is dented? Hmmm? Say so!??! You ARE OK, right?!?!?

I did that last year to our construction worker, forgetting his truck was there & cutting it short in the driveway, I nailed his truck right good ... now an SUV vs BIG truck do NOT blend well ...

BTW a nice greeting at the front with something special might help ... Chuckle!

Sherry called again just now & traveling is slow because of construction on the highways. They are OK, tho.

OH REBECCA... I CAN SO RELATE... WHEN WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW APARTMENT, WE WERE ASSIGNED TWO SINGLE CAR GARAGES. MINE WE USE FOR PARKING, THE OTHER FOR STORAGE. NEEDLESS TO SAY, ONE HOT AFTERNOON LAST MONTH, I SCRAPED THE PASSENGER FRONT OF MY CAR ALONG THE STUCCO WALL THAT SURROUNDS THE GARAGE. THANK GOODNESS MY HONEY KNOWS HOW TO DO STUCCO PATCHES AND PAINT MATCHING, SINCE AFTER ALL HE IS A PAINTER, IT WAS ALL REPAIRED BEFORE ANYONE NOTICED... BUT I WAS IN A BIT OF TROUBLE SINCE I WAS ...APPLYING LIP GLOSS....UGH.

Oh Rebecca, you're such a brave and dutiful blogger to "tell" on yourself. I bet if you took a poll the number of us that have done the same thing is really pretty high. Thank the good Lord, for loving husbands.

I have almost been there. I park my car in the garage and HH parks his car and his truck in the driveway. It is a two car garage, plenty of room for two cars. But he thinks I may hit his and his is newer than mine. But I have backed out many times before I realized the two vehicles are there. Now they are both parked over to the edge of the other side of the driveway, but I sometimes just back out and don't look. I am glad he didn't jump all over you. Women just have so many things to look after.

The Lord blessed you with a great husband. I tried hard not to smile about the "massively" dented fender but, my mind kept picturing your little incident. Well, I'm glad it wasn't a worse accident out on the road.

Oh dear! Was it in your driveway? I backed into my husband's truck one time. I was so lost in thought that I never saw it and couldn't imagine what was back there. That's scary!

Glad you have a sweet hubby, Rebecca! ♥ I don't drive often enough to qualify for any fender benders.

That is so funny (now it is, but I bet it wasn't when it happened). I haven't had a mishap with another vehicle but I did run over my husband's cat, "Jack", in the driveway! :(

He was a crazy cat. He had no fear.

We both felt so bad. My SH was more upset about how much I was upset.

Hi Rebecca -
Just had to tell you that when I backed up into our other car in the driveway I thought I had backed into my hedges so I pulled forward and backed up harder.
