~THE SCHOOL BELL IS FINALLY RINGING~

~LAST MONTH IN ARIZONA~

If you've followed this little bloggie of mine for any length of time at all then you may remember a POST I did about my hubby back in August of last year.  At that time together we had finally made an important decision that would greatly affect both of our lives...a past wrong was finally going to be set right...

(He has a BEAUTIFUL Baritone Voice!)

I hope if you missed it you'll take the time to go back and read it.
 ~KEEPER OF MY HEART~

I hope it will be nothing less than inspiring to those of you who have an inkling of regret over past choices and how it IS possible to set some of our old "wrongs" back on a path of  "rightness".
 ~1977 YEARBOOK~

After lots of delays in school scheduling (on the University's part!) my Mr. AGPMan will start classes this Thursday.  I'm filled with great emotion and pride as I watch the man of my dreams finally begin a yearlong course of study that will finally lead to his college degree.  Unbelievably, my daughter, Adrienne, along with her beloved daddy, will graduate the same year...

This day has been a long-time coming...a thirty-three year journey of discovery, truth and perseverance.  As much as I know one can never actually go back and live past days over again I am a firm believer in finishing what we start...

Today I'm thanking God for the chance~
And, for His grace...and mercy...and love!!!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him
and He WILL make your paths straight."

Proverbs 3:5-6

Love to you this stormy Oklahoma day...

Thank you baby for this wonderful post. I hope I do you proud in school and I hope I can keep up. As long as they can still teach old dogs new tricks I guess I will be OK. Thank you for your encouragement and for helping me to take on this task. I can't wait to be done and be able to switch to a programming job. Even though I enjoy my networking job I am ready to finally do what I have always really wanted to do. Gee, computers and programs have changed a bit since I started in '75. I remember we had to test our programs a 6am because there was only one computer on campus and at 8 it was in use by administration. We had to get there early SO WE HAD TIME TO PUNCH THE CARDS!!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Then we could run and test our program. Good ole FORTRAN code and our calculators in the Math and Science building were huge and were all connected to a mainframe in the basement. Oh my what changes we have seen. Well have to go now, I already have an assignment I have to have done before the first night of class.

HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!

Love you,

me

I remember the story and was just thinking about it not too long ago. I think this is wonderful. How amazing and what fun that daddy and daughter will be graduating at the same time. Some things are meant to be.

I contemplated getting into law school but honestly R, I am tired and want to retire from my FT job soon and move onto other things and the intensity of law school does not excite me. The Law excites me but not the school part. And you know what, I have no regrets. God has blessed me in countless ways and that is all that matters in my heart.

Give him my congratulations. I think it is wonderful.
Hugs, Sue

I am so proud of him and YOU for standing by and allowing this to take place-encouraging it actually. Too often mates hold each other back for selfish reasons. You are the best---but you have the best!

I don't know if I ever told you, or not, but your MrAGMan looks enough like my hubby's best friend to be his brother! So, I always smile when I see him and think of Mike (the friend). Hugs-Diana

I waited 9 yrs before I went back for my MBA. It was strange being in school after I was a manager with good pay - now I had no job, status or excess $. In my fiance class I could not read to board - had to get bifoculs! Then one day in another class I was bored, bored, bored and I fell asleep in class. I just wanted out of there and back into the work force. But on graduation day, when I was hooded, I felt sooooooo proud, the picture I have shows me smiling from ear to ear. It is worth every pain endured....the MBA has opened many more doors with excellent companies. So hang in there Mr. APG - it is so worth it.

Great news, Rebecca, that Steve has begun his studies to finish his
college degree...I know you are "the wind beneath his wings" as he starts this last step of getting that desired degree!! It will be so satisfying to him to finish, and with his daughter at that!!...what a celebtation that will call for!!!
No one else has told you this on Comments, but....I have always thought your Mr.AGPMan was such a "hunk" (as we used to call guys like that!)when I look at his "young days" pictures that I can see why you were so eager to make him your own!! :0) He still is, and you two make a beautiful couple.....and I have children older than the two of you so I am allowed to be bold enough to tell you this!! LOL
Good luck with the new things coming up in your lives and the best of luck,
Hugs and love, Francy
