~ENJOYING PUMPKIN DAYS WITH FRIENDS~ GIVEAWAY, Too!

With my Mr. AGPMan being back in school we don't have much time right now to spend with our longtime  friends.  There are truly only a handful of things I struggle with now that our free time has been whittled down to the bare minimum.  But, not seeing our friends as often as we use to is one thing I really miss...especially now that life is slowing down a bit and Pumpkin Days are upon us.

My hubster is one-fourth of the way through school by the way and next year at this time we'll be celebrating his graduation!  He's doing great!  He was able to CLEP three classes and was given credit for nine additional hours based on life experience.
Anyway...last Sunday evening we had some of our best 'old' friends over for White Chicken Chili and Jalapeno Cornbread.  While I was busy cooking I had my guy snap a few pics of the table for me!  I didn't think about having him do it until after the sun went down and I also forgot to get the flatware out!  FAIL (That's what my Miss K says when I do something dumb silly)!  At least you'll get an idea of what our easy peasy table looked like!

Fall is definitely in the air!
I love plates that look similar but don't match exactly!  I've had the wood Chargers you see for about 15 years now.  They were from Tarjay :) and use to be a dark hunter green but they haven't been that color in a long, long, long time!  I was once crazeeee about dark, dark green! Today, well, not so much!  Now the Chargers are Cottage White!

Imagine that!  Cottage White!

Ever heard of that color?????  (har har har)
I love how these metal leaf tea-light holders look!  Precious!
Simple centerpiece, too!  Usually this pretty metal pumpkin is on my coffee table but the white hydrangeas looked too springy so I moved them!

Now...I'm having serious problems with Blogger.  Are you?  Can't see any of the blogs I follow and for some reason there are about 30 comments on my latest giveaway I can't get to publish! :( :( :(  I'll keep trying.  In the meantime if you missed the POST I did on Saturday about the vintage Train Case GIVEAWAY I'm having I hope you'll check it out when you have time!  Sure to be fun!
Click the LINK if you want to read all about it!

Hope your Tuesday is lovely!

Love to you...

Time with friends are special indeed. I hope you made memories to pull out during the long spells. My husband is in a doctorate program, too, so I can sympathize. I find myself saying, "In four years..." to quite a few things.

Beautiful table Rebecca! Love the soft colors. Who says Autumn colors have to be oranges and golds and browns and such? Your whites and gentle colors are lovely!

Wow...your hubby is getting through school quickly! (or so it seems to me) Glad he was able to go back to finish. You are a good wife to want to see him realize his dream!

Hope you are having a lovely morning my friend.

I have a lot of problems with Blogger most of the time Rebecca but, the last few days have been trouble-free (knock on wood) so I am holding my breath.
The table setting looks wonderful and I do love the metal pumpkin, fabulous touch!
Please do include me in your giveaway and thanks for offering to share such a beautiful case with the lucky winner.

Beautiful tablescape. I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to do that. It is a gift you've been blessed with. Try changing over to Goggle Chrome and maybe that might help with blogger problems. Good luck.

I missed your post about the train case giveaway...(how did THAT happen) so I went over and signed up for that, too. God bless you, Rebecca, you are one of the sweetest people I have ever known. xo Diana

Hi R, make sure when you sign into your blogger account you DON'T click Keep Me Signed In. It's been an ongoing issue that many of us are having but once you unclick, it usually clears up any bugs.

your table is dreamy! I've never heard of "cottage" white. White lace, linen white, fisherman white & even pure white... hehehe

Oh...Rebecca! Your table looks magical in white. Everything is sparkling from the pretty tea lights and candles! Very pretty!

I know what you mean about not having time, even for fun things. My husband and I see friends very rarely, we have to make an effort to line them up. Your dinner sounded wonderful. Care to post the recipes?

XO,
Jane
