~KEEP CALM and PAINT PINK ROSES~

I'm busy in my studio filling some special orders this week so I'm going to be in and out during the next couple of days.  I'm going to try and visit some of you this evening...don't give up on me!  My list of FAVORITE BLOGS is growing by leaps and bounds!

I've been swamped with work lately (thank you, God!) and I'm loving what I do more than ever!  I continue to feel so blessed to work in a business that feeds my soul...  I believe with all of my heart that LIFE, despite the bumps and bruises we might sustain along the way, is GREAT!

Are you living your life to it's fullest?  Working towards creating all that lives within your own heart?  Are you being the best YOU?  Nothing is better than being your authentic self.

NOTHING!

Don't forget you were created for a purpose!  You have a reason for being alive this very day!  Live your truth!  Believe in yourself!

Tick Tock!  Tick Tock!

Time is a wastin'

I'll be back soon with an update on that French Mannequin Girl I showed you a few days ago.  I've ripped off her clothes (EEEK!!!) and her finial and stand have been repainted.  I'm seriously thinking about doing something really Romantic-Chic-French.  Maybe a muted pink with a soft glaze...maybe add some hand painted lettering, etc.!  We'll see!  I'll show you updated pictures soon!

Blessings for a lovely hump-day~

I can't wait to see the mannequin when she is done!! You know, I have quite the passion for them.

And I have been blessed with much sewing work lately and I am grateful. Today, no sewing work and I am glad because I need to get well from this lingering bronchitis. But I am so grateful for the work and the blessing of it.

I pray the Lord blesses you greatly today.

Hi, Rebecca....loved the post today, and thank you for reminding us to live our lives to the fullest
This is the only chance we have, so we must make the best of each day.........
I can just see you, a busy little bee, working on your beautiful projects. I think you have one of THE MOST creative minds out there. So many wonderful, pretty ideas pop
in your pretty head!!
I can't wait to see the mannequin when you get her finished up. A soft delicate look will be gorgeous and just right. I am assuming you are intending to KEEP HER for yourself? :0)
I certainly would!! I will never get rid of my Samantha...remember how hard I bid to win her?? Oh, that was really something!!!
Have a relaxing evening and know that I think you are TOPS in my book!!!!!

Thank you for such encouraging thoughts! I look forward to having some time to paint roses too, but right now I am trying, (by God's grace) to bring order to our homeschool/office areas!

(I don't even think roses could help make it pretty:)

Your studio inspires me!

Rebecca, I wanted you to know that my URL has changed since you joined my blog. It's now: http://medievalchristianreflections.blogspot.com

Have a blessed time in your dreamy studio. Glad you are getting orders!

Dearest Rebecca,

Oh, doing what you LOVE doing is one thing but the only problem remains that there is a lack of HOURS in a day...
Love to you,

Mariette

Hi Rebecca
I too am blessed with doing what I love and getting paid for it. I'm thrilled when a new door opens too and I can follow through at my leisure.
Cheers to keeping busy!

I know whatever you do with mannequin will be over the moon beautiful. And in answer to your question..... NO I'm not. Today was a bad day at worl and every day I wake up wondering why I am still working at a job I do not enjoy at all anymore after 30 years I have nothing to show for it, including retirement. Surely I can find a silver lining in there somewhere!

I love your pink sign! I hope I will one day be "swamped with orders" I'm trying to be patient and have spent the last three days sewing fall things. Tomorrow I start my three 12 hr shifts as an RN. Going to read a few more of your posts, then beddy bye. Love, Linda
