SOMETIMES I JUST HATE MY COMPUTER...and Patience In All Things

~LOOKING DREAMY~

Doesn't the sweet little lady in the vintage graphic above look like she's having a wonderful, lazy, hazy day?

Well...today I was WISHING I was her!

From the second I got up this morning I was slammed with computer problems. And truthfully, there is nothing that makes me feel more helpless and stupid than NOT being able to troubleshoot my own on-line issues.

Now...I'm a pretty smart girl.

I am. :)

But, when it comes to computer JUNK and STUFF :)... well~not-so-much! Just ask my ultra smart son, Brandon, or his totally computer savvy, Pops (that would be my Mr. AGPMan), and they'll tell you straight...I have absolutely NO PATIENCE with anything mechanical or electrical or computerICAL! :( ????

I really think things should work FOREVER!

Anyway, come to find out our ROUTER went bad and it was the reason for ALL the crazy issues and on-line failures today. At least I'm happy that the thing failed all on it's own and not because of something I did.

Whew!

So...give me a couple of days to get my head back on straight and I'll be sharing more sweet vintage graphics with you as well as revealing my Give-A-Way for the New Year!

Blessings to you as learn along with me to exercise PATIENCE in all things...Rebecca

Hi, I'm up too late again.
your new blog is looking good...
I liked the pink background, seems like it fit you like a glove.
I'm with ya on the computer thing.
Nothing makes me madder than a car that won't start or a computer glitz. I'm glad you got your problem solved..
hugs, glenda

Oh Rebecca... I get sooo frustrated when I have trouble on the computer... Jack is the most patient person in the world and always helps me, I am the MOST impatient person in the world... I am working on that though! Your graphic is beautiful... xoxo Julie Marie

I know what you mean about patience with gadgets. I am the one who gets to do the repairs on computer issues here, and there have been many times I was ready to open the door and decorate my front lawn with this computer. But a little patience and all is well again, at least till next time. Have a Great weekend, as for me I am heading in to deliver a birthday gift to one of our grand daughters and then the fun part, I get to stop by Hobby Lobby and JoAnn's.

I've often said, "if I could buy patience, I would"..... I'm short of patience, ....but David's disease is helping me learn more patience.... I hope!

Glad your computer problem was only a router....but I know how frustrating it is when we don't understand the problem and we aren't in charge..... tee/hee.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Love,
Dolores

I am totally with you on this one. We have 3 computers in our house and we are supposed to be "wireless". Well that doesn't seem to work out. My husband has to hardwire his because it's his work computer and he must have access to the internet at all times. What is it with those routers? Seems like we are replacing one twice a year. Why do they go bad?

G'morn, Rebecca ~ You are feeling better now? I sure hope so ... you take good care.

I am NOT, I say NOT, good with anything electrical, technical nor computer-ical either. That is Harold's job ... & he'd better not be out of town when something goes down.

He & Emery-son are my lifelines as I have no patience with all these wires, buttons, etc.

Have a beautiful weekend.

Rebecca whenever I think I have all of my ducks in a row, that is when I am tested ( not sure if it is by God or Bill Gates :o)

Know that we are all having them this week and ues it does stink to not be able to do it all yourself.
Kinda keeps us in check and connected with the Bigger picture!
Better days are coming angel!

Sugar, I hate to mention this again, but I have Macs and rarely if ever have a problem. I just got a new iMac and believe me you'd looooove it. Fast and beautiful. Squeeeeeeeal.... Just taking my time transferring stuff over.

Keep faith, sweet chick. You might enjoy something I read today. I'll email it to you but it will be a blog soon, honey.

I feel your pain. I am truly the biggest klutz ever when it comes to puter issues and how to fix them. My patience I so pray dearly for seems to leave me at those times. A test ya think? Hugs, Mollye

Our router did the same thing. I kept calling for tech surport and they would to something on there end and tell me what to do on my end and it would work for awhile than miss up again..The third time I just unhooked and said forget it. We don't need a router. :)

I agree with you in regards to computers. When I sign on everything should work, I don't like it when strange things happen on my computer. Thank goodness for my computer guru husband who can fix anything that might go wrong.
I found your blog & just wanted to say it is such a beautiful place to visit, thank you for letting me chat with you.
